3. IBMS`s control of ownership
3.1. IBMS requiresthat you, as a client organization:
a) Conformto IBMS requirements when making reference to its certification status incommunication media such
as the internet,brochures or advertising, or other documents,
b) Donot make or permit any misleading statement regarding its certification,
c) Donot use or permit the use of a certification document or any part thereof in amisleading manner,
d) Uponsuspension or withdrawal of its certification, discontinue its use of alladvertising matter that contains a referenceto certification, as directed by IBMS,
e) Amendall advertising matter when the scope of certification has been reduced,
f) Donot allow reference to its management system certification to be used in such away as to imply that IBMS
certifies a product(including service) or process,
g) Donot imply that the certification applies to activities that are outside thescope of certification, and
h) Donot use its certification in such a manner that would bring IBMS and/or certificationsystem into disrepute and lose public trust
3.2 IBMSexercises proper control of ownership and takes action to deal with incorrectreferences to certification status or misleading use of certificationdocuments, marks or audit reports. Such action could include requests forcorrection and corrective action, suspension, withdrawal of certification,publication of the transgression and, if necessary, legal action
